Inhance Case of Alleged Illegal PFAS Production Gets Court Date

A case involving the EPA’s allegation that Inhance Technologies LLC illegally produced PFAS is scheduled for oral argument in a federal district court on Aug. 23, according to an order issued on Tuesday.

Inhance manufactures per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as byproducts of its process of strengthening certain plastics by applying fluorine gas to them, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
