More than 40 House members called on the EPA to bargain in good faith with its biggest union over a diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) article in ongoing contract talks.
If the Environmental Protection Agency is to perform its mission, it “needs a highly trained, well-supported, diverse, and inclusive workforce,” wrote the lawmakers, led by Reps. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) and Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), in a letter to EPA Administrator Michael Regan.
