President Joe Biden in his State of the Union address last night cast climate change as an opportunity to build a better, stronger nation, drive economic growth and save money.
Biden also sought to rebrand his spending package, formerly known as “Build Back Better,” into a proposal he’s calling “Building a Better America.” The effort includes ideas he proposed before, but messaged with a focus on deficit reduction and reducing inflation.
He extolled the investments unleashed by last year’s bipartisan infrastructure law as a chance to become more resilient in weathering the consequences of climate change while promoting environmental justice. ...
