The House overwhelmingly passed sanctions on Iranian oil exporters on Friday — in a 342-69 vote with 133 Democrats joining all but one Republican, Reuters reports.
Named the Stop Harboring Iranian Petroleum Act, or SHIPS, the bill would require the Biden administration to impose sanctions against entities involved in Iranian oil exports, including port owners and operators of vessels that transport Iranian oil.
