Health, Safety Data for 16 Chemicals Must Be Submitted to EPA

Companies making and importing any of 16 chemicals must report to the EPA existing health and safety studies they have, know about, or are conducting, according to a final rule from the agency.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s rule (RIN 2070-AL15), to be officially published Friday, is designed to collect information about chemicals the agency has chosen or may select for risk evaluation under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
