Hagan to Serve as Interior Solicitor After Doffermyre Resigns

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum this week appointed Damon Hagan to serve as Interior solicitor after William Doffermyre’s resignation.

Hagan is the department’s principal deputy solicitor. His appointment was made public in a May 26 order published online late Wednesday or early Thursday.

Doffermyre, who was confirmed by the Senate in September, resigned last week. E&E News first reported his resignation, saying he’ll work as a consultant to a Canadian mining company.
