The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission didn’t follow the D.C. Circuit’s instructions when reauthorizing a liquefied natural gas export terminal in Texas, the Sierra Club and a local city said.
Port Isabel, Texas, and the environmental group told the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Wednesday that the agency failed to correct errors the court said it made in a 2021 case, where the approvals of three LNG terminals and two pipelines were challenged by nonprofit Vecinos para el Bienestar de la Comunidad Costera.
