The Environmental Protection Agency on Dec. 31 published a final rule extending the Biden administration’s compliance deadlines for its 2024 effluent limitations guidelines for coal plants. The nonprofit environmental advocacy group on Tuesday petitioned the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to review the agency’s final action on the deadline extensions.
