Green Groups Sue EPA to Regulate Emissions for All Incinerators

Environmental groups are challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision not to enforce emission standards for certain types of solid waste incinerators.

The EPA is “exposing the American people to harmful air pollutants Congress directed the agency to regulate,” the Sierra Club and California Communities Against Toxics said in their brief filed March 20 with the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
