Environmentalists and health organizations sued the Trump administration Tuesday for upholding air quality standards they say are too weak to protect against particulate matter pollution.
The American Lung Association, the Conservation Law Foundation, and other groups filed the petition for review at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, asking judges to weigh in on the standards they say do nothing to stem deadly pollution levels. States led by Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D) filed a similar challenge last week.
