Green Groups Challenge FERC Fast-Tracking Fossil Fuel Projects

Environmental groups want a court to set aside Federal Energy Regulatory Commission orders approving the fast-track of interconnection of what they claim are mostly fossil-fueled electricity generation in the central part of the country.

Clean Wisconsin, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Sierra Club filed a short petition for review with the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit Tuesday.
