Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm told lawmakers her agency is using “every tool available” to increase oil supply amid surging gasoline prices, but one top House Republican lamented the administration’s “complete lack of follow-through” on addressing energy.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, high global energy prices, and supply chain disruptions should spur the country to accelerate investment in U.S. clean energy technologies and energy efficiency, Granholm told the House Energy and Commerce Committee Thursday in outlining her priorities for the Energy Department’s fiscal year 2023 budget request.
