House Republicans—searching for ways to pay for tax cuts in a bill expected as early as this week—are debating taking another shot at the Inflation Reduction Act’s energy tax credits.

Coming off negotiations where the GOP demanded government spending cuts in exchange for raising the debt ceiling, some Ways and Means Committee Republicans said there’s a potential need for offsets.
