Google VP Says Motorola Phones to Add Perplexity, Microsoft AI

New devices soon to be released by Lenovo Group Ltd.’s Motorola will feature artificial intelligence apps by Perplexity AI Inc., Microsoft Corp. and Alphabet Inc.’s Google, a top executive at the search giant testified Tuesday.

Peter Fitzgerald, Google’s vice president of platforms and device partnerships, said that Samsung Electronics Co. is also in discussions with multiple AI companies about including their apps on its phones.
