Goodrich Corp. and two other companies will dredge contaminated sediment and clean up gasoline and petroleum products at a Superfund site in Kentucky under an agreement approved by a federal district court.
The federal government alleged Goodrich, Westlake Vinyls Inc., and PolyOne Corp. were liable for cleanup costs at the B.F. Goodrich Superfund site in Calvert City, Ky. The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky finalized a consent decree between the parties after determining it was a fair agreement.
