A renewable energy company is suing the Interior Department over its decision to add the Dixie Valley toad to the endangered species list based on its proximity to a geothermal project in Nevada.
The decision has “caused concrete and particularized harm” including impairing “its significant investment of time, money, and other resources in a critically needed new renewable energy project,” Ormat Nevada Inc. said in its complaint filed Tuesday with the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
