Fort Worth, Texas, Joins Broader Lawsuit Over PFAS Contamination

Fort Worth, Texas, dismissed its standalone suit against military departments and chemical manufacturers to join multi-district litigation surrounding contamination from aqueous film forming foam, which is used to fight fires.

The city joined dozens of consolidated lawsuits before the US District Court for the District of South Carolina on Thursday, after dropping its initial action filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
