Former Trump-Appointed EPA Attorney Joins Keller and Heckman

David B. Fischer, an attorney who recently helped shape rules and decisions the EPA has issued on chemicals and pesticides, joined Keller and Heckman LLP this week.

Fischer’s inside-the-agency knowledge of regulations will provide the firm’s staff and its clients “with critical insight and perspective when bringing new products to market and keeping them there,” said Herb Estreicher, a partner in the law firm’s Washington, D.C. and Brussels offices.

  • Prior to joining the law firm on March 29, Fischer was deputy assistant administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency’s chemicals and pesticides office from July 2019 to January 2021.
