Ford May Cancel Its Electric F-150 Pickup Truck, WSJ Reports (2)

Ford Motor Co. is considering scrapping its electric F-150 Lightning pickup truck, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

No final decision has been made on the vehicle, but executives are in active discussions about it, according to the Journal.

A Ford spokesman declined to comment on future product plans, but noted that the F-150 Lightning had record sales in the third quarter and remains the top-selling electric pickup in the US.
