The US Army Corps of Engineers has acted as a “bureaucratic steamroller,” refusing to mitigate the effects of a restoration plan in Florida on a nearby Buddhist community, a new lawsuit alleges.
The C-11 Impoundment Project‘s construction will damage the Florida Nature and Culture Center, which is used for religious practice, a Buddhist organization told the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Monday.
