FivePoint Holdings Deal Reduces Footprint of Calif. Mega-Project

California-based FivePoint Holdings LLC has agreed to shrink the climate and natural resources impacts of its embattled Newhall Ranch project in northern Los Angeles County under a deal with environmental and tribal groups.

The agreement with the Center for Biological Diversity, Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians, Wishtoyo Foundation, and the California Native Plant Society eases the way for a long-planned mega-development on some of the county’s last undeveloped land.
