FedEx Investors Vote Against Climate Disclosure Proposals (1)

FedEx Corp. shareholders rejected two climate change-related proposals seeking disclosures on how the company’s climate change strategy and retirement investments impact employees.

Most investors voted against the proposals at the company’s annual meeting Thursday, but FedEx did not provide the percentage result during the meeting. One proposal, brought by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters General Fund, asked FedEx to disclose how the company is addressing the impact of its climate change strategy on stakeholders including its employees, workers in its supply chain, and communities in which it operates.
