RALEIGH, N.C.—A personal injury lawsuit against the federal government stemming from exposure to drinking water contamination at Camp Lejeune, N.C., may proceed, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina ruled Feb. 24 (Jones v. United States).
In making its ruling, the district court rejected the government’s motion to dismiss based on the statute of limitations and sovereign immunity.
