Exxon Appeals Order Remanding California Plastics Deception Case

ExxonMobil Corp. appealed a federal judge’s decision to send California’s plastics deception lawsuit back to state court.

The energy and petrochemical giant will now try to prove a federal court has jurisdiction over the case in the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, according to a notice filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
