DENVER—An industrial explosives supplier has agreed to pay a $110,900 fine and improve accident prevention and preparedness planning to settle Clean Air Act violations at its Cheyenne, Wyo., plant, the Environmental Protection Agency said July 11.
Dyno Nobel, an Australian-based company, has agreed to improve risk management and maintenance of equipment used to store and process hazardous chemicals, according to the EPA Region 8 office. The company also has pledged to improve documentation of training for employees working with these chemicals, EPA said.
