Eversource Energy said it no longer plans to construct the Northern Pass transmission line in New Hampshire after the state’s Supreme Court upheld regulators’ decision rejecting the siting permit.
“Eversource concluded that construction of the project was no longer probable and that substantially all of the project costs, certain of which are subject to cost reimbursement agreements, were impaired,” the company said in a filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 25.
