The European Union and the US will develop common standards to facilitate the use of charging stations by electric vehicles as they push to boost green alternatives for mobility and reduce dependency on fossil fuels.
Both sides said the proposal is critical to expand the availability of electric vehicles across Europe and the US as the two sides met on Monday near Paris to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
