EPA Watchdog to Scrutinize Potential Abuse of Infrastructure Money

The EPA’s internal watchdog says it will take a hard look in fiscal 2023 at whether grant money under the infrastructure bill is being wasted or stolen, according to a planning document.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Inspector General on Wednesday released the document, an outline a series of oversight plans for the coming year touching on grant funding, climate change, hazardous substances and more.
