The Biden administration will feed $20 billion in funding for a national clean energy lending network, which is set to bolster private-sector development of climate-friendly projects and technology.
The agency will award the funds for a “historic infusion” of cash for two to three national clean financing institutions who will work with the private sector to finance clean energy projects nationwide for individuals, groups and local officials, according to senior administration officials on a Thursday press call.
