EPA Seeks to End Challenge to Its Pesticide Approval Process

The US Environmental Protection Agency asked a federal judge to end litigation with the Center for Food Safety, after the agency denied the group’s petition to review pesticide regulations.

“It’s an irresponsible and unlawful decision that leaves farming communities and endangered species unprotected from exposure to different pesticide formulations and mixtures,” Sylvia Wu, Center for Food Safety attorney, said in a statement.
