EPA Science Panel Skeptical of Latest Ozone Standards Analysis

Members of a Clean Air Act advisory panel voiced some skepticism of the scope of research considered in a draft EPA conclusion to leave ground-level ozone standards unchanged since 2015.

The Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee Ozone Panel met Friday to be briefed by the Environmental Protection Agency on its latest draft policy assessment reconsidering ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards, or NAAQS—the first step towards presenting their own recommendations on the standards to the agency.
