Whipped cream, hair spray, and silly string all fall under the EPA’s latest efforts to simplify the hazardous waste management process for the retail industry.

The Environmental Protection Agency on Nov. 15 issued long-awaited regulations for disposing of aerosol cans, which are considered hazardous because of their potential to explode and catch fire. By issuing the final rule, the EPA is following up on its 2016 goals to help the retail industry deal with specific products that become hazardous waste.
