The EPA has agreed to study the risks of asbestos exposure as part of an agreement with health groups that sued over its allegedly inadequate review, according to a Wednesday filing in a California federal court.
The Environmental Protection Agency will expand its ongoing asbestos risk evaluation to include a review of all the cancer and non-cancer diseases linked to exposure, according to the settlement filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
