The Environmental Protection Agency has released an update on its guidance on the disposal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, according to the agency Tuesday.
The document puts forth a new technology evaluation framework to help tech developers to assess new destruction and disposal methods.
The guidance also highlights data gaps and uncertainties that current research aims to address to bring about efficient destruction of PFAS, said EPA.
