The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a plan to address the soil and groundwater contamination at an industrial property in New Jersey, according to a Monday news release.

The agency has proposed in-situ chemical treatment for contaminated groundwater and replacing contaminated soil with clean backfill at the Cinnaminson Superfund site, which is also causing chemical vapors to enter nearby residences, according to the agency.

The 30-day comment period will extend from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31, and a virtual meeting will be held Aug. 10.
