The EPA expects to propose a revised perchloroethylene rule this summer, and finalize it in 2027, the agency told a federal appeals court Thursday.
The Environmental Protection Agency provided the updated timeline to the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in a motion asking the court to pause for 90 more days litigation challenging a 2024 regulation, which restricted the solvent.
