The 2023 Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) rule the Environmental Protection Agency plans to revise sought to implement Congress’ mandate to collect information to fill an important data gap: the agency does not know how many and which per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been in US commerce.
