Few chemical manufacturers have asked the EPA to review new chemicals they say are necessary for data centers under an initiative the agency launched five months ago, with just one being approved for priority review.
The Environmental Protection Agency last September said it would prioritize the review of new chemicals that are designed for use in data center projects or that certain equipment centers need.
