The EPA has provisionally concluded that a chemical that helps make plastic and rubber products flexible also poses too great a risk to people’s health, joining the European Union, which already considers it a “substance of very high concern.”
The Environmental Protection Agency released on Monday its draft conclusions about the potential of dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP) to injure people or the environment. The agency is seeking public comment through March 10.
