EPA Failing to Act on Ozone Pollution, Lawsuit Says (Corrected)

The Environmental Protection Agency is failing to adopt plans to limit ozone pollution from blowing across state lines, environmental groups say in a new lawsuit.

The agency’s failure to adopt and publish these “Good Neighbor” plans in compliance with a two-year deadline imposed by Congress violates the Clean Air Act, according to the lawsuit filed Feb. 7 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
