Senior political leadership at the EPA will start reporting to the office Nov. 22, according to an internal email sent by Deputy Administrator Janet McCabe on Thursday.
The Environmental Protection Agency is negotiating with the agency’s unions details of transitioning out of maximum telework, according to the email, which was reviewed by Bloomberg Law. McCabe said bargaining unit members will be given 45 days notice of their “no sooner than” date for return to the office, but non-bargaining unit members will have to return no sooner than Jan. 3, 2022.
