EPA Escapes Lawsuit Over Bay-Area Shipyard Cleanup Redo (1)

Tetra Tech EC Inc. once again lost its bid to get the EPA and Navy’s plan to redo more than a decade of cleanup at a former San Francisco shipyard tossed.

The environmental engineering and contracting firm, which alleged that the rework would cost it about $86 million more than the work it believes is necessary, didn’t have standing to bring the suit, a federal judge ruled.
