The Environmental Protection Agency is considering a revision to its pesticide labeling procedures that would give product registrants more flexibility in adding the term “new” to their product label.
The proposal under consideration would allow registrants to request the use of “new” with a projected start date of when they would begin using the term on their labels, according to an issue paper posted on the agency’s website.
