The EPA asked a federal district court to delay an order to release information about new chemicals due to Arkema Inc.'s assertion the release would reveal the company’s confidential business information.

The Environmental Protection Agency asked the US District Court for the District of Columbia Tuesday to stay a March 23 deadline the court set requiring the agency to release 84 unredacted corporate requests to make new chemicals, called pre-manufacture notices (PMNs), to environmental groups.
