EPA Announces $5.8 Billion for Water Infrastructure Upgrades

The Environmental Protection Agency is allocating $5.8 billion to invest in drinking water and clean water infrastructure upgrades for states, Tribes, and territories as part of the more than $50 billion investment in water infrastructure upgrades from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the agency said Tuesday.

The funding, which is through the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, will support state-run, low-interest loan programs, according to the EPA.
