Energy Transfer Faces Criminal Charge for Mariner 2 Pipeline (2)

Energy Transfer LP is facing criminal charges over its failure to report drilling fluid releases in connection with its Mariner East 2 Pipeline, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro (D) announced Tuesday.

More than 80,000 gallons of fluid were released in and around Marsh Creek Lake in Chester County, Pa., during the construction of one segment of the pipeline between 2017 and 2020, the attorney general’s office says.
