Energy Research to Go on Despite Proposed Cuts, Brouillette Says

The Energy Department’s research and development on renewable energy technology will continue despite the White House’s budget proposal to eliminate those programs, Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette told a Senate panel Tuesday.

“I assure you we’re going to continue that work regardless of the numbers in this budget,” Brouillette told the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee during a budget hearing.
