ENERGY BRIEFING: Castor Wants Climate Push With Infrastructure

The first big legislative push addressing climate change likely will be through a transportation and infrastructure package, said Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.), chairman of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, during an online town hall yesterday with dozens of environmental and public health advocacy groups.

“But how ambitious that is, is up to all of you to help push these policymakers to get going,” the Florida Democrat told the organizations, which included Moms Clean Air Force, the National Wildlife Federation, Environmental Defense Fund, and the Environmental Law and Policy Center.
