Enbridge Finance Chief Vern Yu Leaving to Become CEO at AltaGas

Enbridge Inc. Chief Financial Officer Vern Yu is leaving to lead a rival pipeline and utilities company, the highest-profile departure since Greg Ebel took over as chief executive this year.

Yu will exit Enbridge on June 30 and take over at AltaGas Ltd. the next day, according to statements from the Calgary-based companies on Monday. Patrick Murray, Enbridge’s chief accounting officer, will succeed Yu as CFO.
