DuPont to Pay $3.1 Million to Settle Air Pollution Suit (1)

E.I. Du Pont de Nemours & Co. has agreed to pay $3.1 million to settle alleged air, water, and hazardous waste violations at a chemical manufacturing facility in Orange, Tex., according to a filing in a federal court in the state.

DuPont owned and operated the facility from 1946 until 2019, when it was transferred to PMNA, according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
